| This is a new strain of fertile blacks I am launching. Once upon a time, I had a strain called black crystal which threw some white bettas as well, but I could never get the finnage to improve so finally I decided to start all over, from scratch ;). But I like the name so I am keeping it for this new black strain. This strain will throw blacks, as well as some BF and possibly marbles, and yes it might also throw some white crystals. These are fun to work with, sturdy and low maintenance. They come in both ST and DT version. Both myself and another IBC breeder are working on this so there is a lot of fresh blood, hence the sturdy quality. Finnage this time around is nice, and I have seen some males come out real good! If you like blacks, I would recommend these (as opposed to the ever so temperamental and difficult to breed melanos). Suitable for breeders of all levels. |
